History

Purdum Gray Ingledue, Inc., as it is known today, has a long history of solid growth and stability. Founded in 1926 by the late R.B. Purdum, the agency has grown from a one-man operation to a fully-staffed, independent insurance agency. PGI has been an integral part of the community for over 80 years. The tradition of quality leadership continues today with present owners James E. Gray, T. Jay Ingledue and Beau J. Ingledue.

In addition to all types of property, casualty, life, health, and specialty insurance coverage, PGI offers investment assistance to the residents of McDonough County and other surrounding areas.
